House and Leisure magazine and Woolworths are set to announce the three winners in the second annual House and Leisure Green Designers at Woolworths competition at Design Indaba on Thursday 25 February 2010.

Now in its second year, the competition aims to promote an emerging generation of eco-design stars. This year the students were challenged to take the concept further and source appropriate manufacturers to help them turn their prototypes from idea to retail. The final products will be on display at the House and Leisure stand at the Design Indaba Expo from 26 to 28 February.

Over a seven-month period House and Leisure featured the creations of students from various tertiary design institutions. Each of the 10 finalists receives a R1000 Woolworths gift voucher, and the three overall winners will each receive a MacBook. The 10 finalists for the House and Leisure Green Designers at Woolworths Competition are:
